Features that can be dealer programmed on GX 550? Anyone with a complete “dealer programable feature” list & perhaps what they had done? (2 Viewers)

This forum has been a great source of information on the GX. Wondering if there is a comprehensive list of “dealer programmable” features.

I’ve heard of folding mirrors when the ignition is turned off and S-flow Ac feature to off. Curious to know what else can be programmed for my next service visit to Lexus of Santa Barbara.

I’m sure many in the forum would benefit from crowd sourcing this data.

There's not one simple answer to this.

The owner's manual has a long, 12-page list of seemingly all customizable features. When that list shows a circle under the column for 'can be changed by Lexus dealer' but not via the center console then a dealer needs to do it. Any dealer changes are supposed to be no charge at the 5k and 10k mile check in, after that there's a fee.

The not so simple part in this is some settings are not listed in the OM. Engine Sound Enhancement and Active Noise Cancelling are two examples. I learned about them on here, in this thread, Fake Engine Noise, had it disabled at a 5k check in. An educated guess is there are more undocumented customizations, but I've never seen a list.

it also depends if your dealer is willing to customize them for you. Most won't definitely touch any they deem safety issues like the seat belt chimes. Better to get one month of Carista....If you are ever closer to Van Nuys before July 5, I still have time left on my Carista subscription to be able to program whatever is available.
