Just picked up my sweetheart's GX Lux+. I figured I'd give a shot of both in the stable.

HERS: 2025 Nightfall Mica Lux+ / Saddle Tan interior Mine: 2024 Nori / Onyx Overtrail / Chateau interior.

Our retirement gifts to ourselves. Also likely the last car I'll buy. Can't speak for the Mrs,!

I haven't spent enough time in the Lux + to make an informed opinion, but at first blush, the biggest difference in ride is definitely tire related as the Lux tends to thump a little more over expansion joints and pavement cracks. The other differences are less wind noise by the Lux+ and more exhaust sound from the Lux + (It has the catback exhaust).

While we're flexing. Both of these will get leveling kits and bigger tires when the factory tires are worn out. It's crazy how different the two vehicles are considering the wife's is a '22 and mine is a '24.

It may be crazy that I literally couldn’t drive the ‘22 because of the looks, and I think the 24 looks great. But it’s true. There was no chance of me considering an earlier version of the GX.

There really is no comparison. The '24 looks better, drives better and has MUCH more power and tech. But, the '22 is bullet proof and has far more lift options. Once she gets her's lifted with bigger tires, it will look amazing. But, her's doesn't wake the neighbors with quealling brakes when she backs out of the driveway either!!

I just put a deposit down on the GX550 Premium+. Dealer didn't give me a waiting time, but did say will most likely come with cross bars. Does anyone know how much height these add? I have a height garage door (7ft).

If your door is 7', you should be fine. 7' is 84 inches. I think you may be looking at 76-77 with the crossbars.
