Does anyone have the dimensions on the OT+ with the rear seats folded up as far forward as they will go to the rear tailgate when it is closed. Trying to figure if it is a sleeping length beyond just emergency use.

Unfortunately, not great. 64" straight back and about 72" diagonally. Too bad the seats don't fold flat. I'll check out the video, but thinking the Tesla Model 3 might be a better trailhead camper if it can get there.

I watched the video. The issue with the platform is that it still won’t be long enough. I measured the top of the backseat around 68 inches or so, meaning no support for your head. I think when I make a platform, I’m going to have the wood extend up the back of the backseat and you’ll just barely get 72 or 73 inches of length. I’m 6 feet tall.

I ran across this product which the owner claims the wide seat will easily accommodate the solo, and both down will accommodate the duo. No need to remove the seats. The extended legs will arch over them and into the footwells.

Haven't looked closely at this yet https://www.rei.com/product/229077/rei-co-op-trailgate-vehicle-sleeping-platform

I’m about to order the Hele Box duo for my 2024 OT+. I’ll let you guys know how it fits. I was planning on building a platform to sleep on but it seems like this product may save me time and money in the long run. I’m doubtful about using it with the rear seats in because it seems there won’t be much head room. My calculations are that with the rear seats out I’ll have about 76” of space from front to back. Removing the seats is pretty simple and takes about 10 minutes-just remove the plastic trim pieces and bolts. I’m going to get the stubby legs too, just in case. I’ll keep you posted.
