Well, we traded in our GX yesterday for a new Yukon AT4. We needed more space than anything but, we were approaching the 50k mark and decided to move on. Even with all our complaints about the GX, we still loved our time in each one! This was our 3rd model. I was hoping to sell ours to the dealership because they could still certify pre-own it, but they offered 5k less than the GMC dealership. I really enjoyed my time on this forum and appreciate all the information and feedback I received with my time here! I wish all of you the best of luck with your rides! My salesman mentioned he has gotten word that in 2027 Lexus is making a new line that will be more comparable in space to the Yukon/Tahoe. So, with that, maybe I'll see you later!

We looked at and drove one of those over the weekend as a loaner. They are really nice and bigger than the GX. However, we still need more room than they provide. Mainly width, and storage behind the 3rd row. Toting boys, friends, baseball bags, golf bags etc. They did have a pretty sweet one with a lift and all terrains at the dealership. I should have taken a photo but failed to do so.

You’ve already had 3 GX550s??

Good luck! You put a lot of miles on your GX in a short time. Hope you enjoy your Yukon. I can't see using my GX as an everyday driver. I bought it just for the off-road experience. I've always had GM trucks and SUV's and liked them.

It's my wife's daily driver. Between work, practices, weekend trips etc. we put the miles on them. We also drive to Florida every year to the beach from Oklahoma. With that said, we did not have any major powertrain issues to speak of. We did have all the rattling hood, brakes, chair handles breaking off, massage seats not working, infotainment issues and the dreaded cracked windshield. Haha
