Ha, I was so hooked on this truck design when it came out. Final product was just a lil’ off what I liked about it.
Glad I focused on my towing capacity needs (uphill, in the cold, etc.) vs. going on “looks” alone.

I'm a huge fan of the Hummer EV looks but I don't want an electric only vehicle. If they sold a version with a diesel motor, I'd be all over it.

My boss has one of these - he bought it after a test drive and drove it home. Didn’t even have a charger for it

My buddy has one too. He also loves it. Low maintenance as well, though he has had to take it to the dealership for little bugs a few times. He loves not having to ever put gas in it though.

I JUST traded my 2022 Hummer EV truck after over four years and 79K+ miles. The truck was AWESOME to drive. The most intuitive vehicle I have ever driven, and I have owned a lot in my lifetime.
The charging network is MUCH better than when I first bought it, though road trips are always easier in a gas vehicle. I paid MSRP and my dealership was very friendly. Unfortunately they only had one mechanic certified on the Hummer and it was the shop foreman. So getting service/maintenance scheduled was more difficult than a gas vehicle. And you can’t take it anywhere but the dealership. Also, I had one maintenance issue that required a new half-shaft (so nothing complex/electronic). It took 78 days for the part to come in. A lot of the parts are on back order due to the production idling everytime demand is light. GM sold more than 50% less Hummers this quarter than they did this time last year. Everyone that wanted one, bought one the first year or two. So I don’t see the situation improving.
So basically, lots of fun and capability but underwhelming GM commitment.
I also traded due to an upcoming life changes. I did TONS of research and quickly found the GX on the top of my list. I have had my Green Overtrail since Monday and LOVE it.

Glad you had a good experience. As you mentioned, I can only imagine is going to get more and more difficult on those in the future. And I wouldn't want to own one out of warranty!
