Meter Display Customization (Likes/Dislikes)

There are three screens (pages) that can be customized. Which screen (page) are you guys @Bluegill @Jabber customizing? I wouldn't expect that to make a difference, but who knows...
The pictures we posted show Meter. Its Type 2, which is pretty distinctive from 1 and 3 because the tach and speedo are right and left.

I tried several things today, but no luck yet. The meter type 2 tach and speedo drop off the display when dynamic cruise control is engaged.

I set up the driving assists programs like yours. Mine has an extra Rear Camera Detection. I also tried turning them all off and then turning them back on one at a time to see if any one of them was the culprit. It doesn't seem to matter which are on or off, the meter drops the tach and speedo with dynamic cruise engaged.

I also did the meter display customization the same as yours again just to try to isolate the issue.

It's also interesting that when the tach and speedo drop off with dynamic cruise engaged, it add the oil and battery gauges.

This is so irritating.

If you didn't see from another post in this thread... I tried changing the mode to standard cruise and when you engage it in standard cruise, the tach and speedo remain. They only disappear with the engagement of the dynamic cruise.

We have Meter 2 in settings selected (Display Settings/Vehicle Customization/Meter). It's the only one with the tach left and the speedo right. As for Meter Display Customization (press/hold the ok button on the steering wheel), I've tried, and failed to resolve the issue< using all 3 custom setting groups.

There's got to be something set differently! Or I guess it could be a glitch....
I set up an appointment with Lexus in late April for the brakes to be replaced and I'll try to tackle this issue then too. I'm kind of out of ideas. There is something wrong in there.

I tried all different settings as are posted. Any combination still removed my speedo and tach when I engage the adaptive CC. It has to be different firmware. Mine is a late 24 OT.

Hi gang - I picked up my 2025 Earthly OT yesterday and am going through the display customization process. If possible, could you post some images of your three finalized meter displays? This would be quite nice to see and compare the different arrangements that could be developed. TIA!

Finally picked up my '25 OT and can report that I can replicate this issue.

Here's an additional observation: after engaging dynamic cruise, if I hit the Lane Tracing Assist button (right side of steering wheel, its icon looks like a car between two dashed lines), then the tach and speedo re-appear! Hit that button again and they disappear.

And of course, it's also kinda silly that LTA is required to start dynamic cruise. But it can be turned off once dynamic cruise is engaged.

My 3 set ups (all type 3) are 1) for regular driving around town, 2) driving long distance highway and 3) driving off-road

Thanks for that additional observation! Mine does the same thing. When DRCC and LTA are engaged, the Speedo and Tach disappear. Its stupid and clearly not intended to be that way. With both engaged, if you hit the LTA button on the right side of the steering wheel to turn that system off, the Speedo and Tach re-appear. Then hit that button again and they disappear again. The issue of the disappearing Speedo and Tach occurs when BOTH DRCC and LTA are engaged. Turn either off and they reappear.

HOWEVER, on March 4 2025 in this thread, you will see Bluegill posted a picture of his Meter Display with both DRCC and LTA engaged and his 2024 OT+ DOES NOT have the same issue. His picture shows both systems engaged and the speedo and tach remain.

I took my 2024 OT+ into the dealer for its 10000 oil change and told them about the issue. They acknowledge that it doesn't seem right to do that, confirm my software is up to date, and are informing Lexus of the issue. They will figure this out and get it in a software update, but it probably is not the biggest thing on their list!

Appreciate the confirmation. I will bring this to the attention of my local dealer next time as well. Hopefully Lexus will eventually issue an update but not holding my breath.
