Mounting a compressor under the hood

Im have an ARB portable compressor that I'm thinking of mounting under the hood. Has anyone mounted one yet - if so where did you put it?

A friend had an ARB compressor mounted under the hood of his 4Runner - I have the pics some place.,, …. Will try to dig it up…

What about in the back on one side or under your victory shelf?? You have your awesome smart phone controller system … and have wired all the other cool stuff ..,

I'll take a look at the brackets - would prefer to mount under hood where hidden. Might also see what room is avail where the OEM compressor is today.

ARB is probably the highest quality on board compressor on the market.

In my case I get out so infrequently, my back up compressor for the GX is the $159 - Amazon purchase that has worked reliably for the last 4 years .., only down side is that it gets HOT!! (Enough to melt plastic) - so u have to let it cool down before putting in back in its storage bag.

Inflating function works great (hooks up to battery)… the pressure measurement dial is useless (not reliable)… but i keep a separate pressure gauge for that purpose.
