Don't have the ML system but I saw this post on Facebook. I did not dig any deeper, but it appears they may have a similar TSB that they had for the TX.

Whats considered a high volume? I have a dedicated audio player (Hiby M300) that plays high res wireless music and it was pretty damn loud already at sound volume of 34 and did not cut out.
This issue is a bit hit and miss. I have a 25 OT+ with ML sound system. I can only turn the volume level to 28 for comfortable listening and never feel the lacking of bass. I understand everyone's sound perception is different but I don't think everyone with ML system is affected by this amp issue.

I can't wait to get rid of that tin can sound at low volumes and the bass cutting out at higher volumes.
I have a July '25 manufactured GX, with the second revision amp (not what is described in that Facebook post).

I can avoid the tinny sound and bass cutting by disabling the active sound leveling speed sensitive volume feature. Does that work for you?

Since then, I've been able to play extraordinarily bassy phonk music at high volumes with no compromises to sound quality, though I have to manually adjust my volume up and down based on speed. In fact, I've discovered a rattle in the driver's door at high volume, high bass that I've never had before. I still wish the frequency response was a bit cleaner and less woofy in the 150-250hz range, but it's pretty good.
