Potential Recall Coming - Driver Displays Going Blank

It appears the remedy for the blank screen recall is available through your dealership. OTA version is in the works.

Interesting to hear, my GX is actually in the shop right now to look at a few things, one of which is this blank tach screen issue! I see the article I posted above was updated as well.

If you check your Lexus app it should show as available in the Health section. Hopefully they can knock it out for you.

Nope.

Had my GX for a year and nothing.

Update: of course the dealer was unable to reproduce the issue so nothing could be done (what a surprise). They directed me to take a photo next time it happens… doubt I’ll be able to pull over, take my phone out, and grab a photo in time.

Hopefully it’ll be published to NHTSA soon, my service advisor had no clue this was an issue (also not surprising).

No, nothing to date, however according to Lexus, OTA updates will be coming in the near future. In the app under Health, the statement reads: "We understand our guests' time is valuable. Therefore, Lexus is preparing an option for guests to obtain the software via OTA for vehicles that support this function."
