Power at rear view mirror

Bought one of the Garmin dash cams - has anyone hooked up one of these; is there a way to tap into the power by the rear view mirror?

Buy the proper adapter and you can connect to the 2 lower left ports of the white connector on the passenger side

Yes, I have the Garmin X310 dash cam and used the Dongar Pro to power it. Works like a charm.

I got the Dongar but it's only outputting 5V

Am I supposed to be getting 12V

The device your viofo connects to, does it show a green light or a red one?

my understanding is if its red, its 5V, if its green its 9-12V

On my OT there was only one 10 pin, it was a no brainer. It was white, 2nd one in from the passenger side. Pop the cover, it will be obvious.
