Premium Plus Running Boards Paint Chipping (1 Viewer)

Silver paint starting to chip. It is on the driver side so definitely a high use area. Anyone else running into this issue? I still have temp tags on my car so this is a bit annoying.

Sucks to see that. do you wear hard sole shoes or dress shoes with a heel?

I had mine wrapped on black vinyl a week after delivery, but don't see any similar wear along the edge of the running board

No, I wear running shoes most days. I do run into the running board a bit. I haven't paid any attention to it until now.

Hi, new to the forum. I recently picked up the GX and noticed how easily the paint chips off on the running boards. I stepped out with gym shoes today and the paint came off. I’m considering getting them painted black. Was wondering if anyone had luck addressing this issue with the dealership. Thanks

Someone needs to offer the silver part in metal or non-painted silver plastic. I had mine wrapped in PPF but it already has lifting edges due to the shape and location I suppose.

Had the same issue. Took it to the dealership, they touched it up and it peeled again. I've gone back 3 times and just have given up on it. It doesn't bother me much but it's annoying on a $80k car.
