I'lLL OWN IT, I SHOULD HAVE DONE MORE RESEARCH. I have had more trouble getting lights mounted to this Westcott Designs roof rack than anything in the world. I have spent gobs of money trying to make things work, and it just is a boat anchor. It looks like it is super useable, but there is no way to make the darn thing work. I have the Baja S2 Pro's. I ordered a cover for the lights to make them match and tilt at the correct angle for scene lights. Great plan except then the S2's dont fit in the hole properly, so then I had to order the Baja Designs Flush mount kit, remember this is 6X for six lights (links below). Then I get the parts all here, reconstruct the lights so they will fit in the boxes, and I go hang the boxes and they dont mount as the rack is too low, even though the instructions from Westcott were followed. Now, I need to adjust the rack and get it up higher off the roof. This undoubtedly will increase the noise from the rack. More info tomorrow as I waste even more time on the worst Roof Rack ever. The rack does not allow for easy insertion for any tie down rings. You literally have to take the rack slats loose then slide the bolt down the channel, then reassemble the rack and then attach your tie down ring. The rings now are permanently in place, which sucks because depending upon what one might be storing up there becomes a real hassle to adjust where the tie downs are located.
Super frustrated with something that has been so well promoted. No offense to any of you that said to buy this one, I should have done a little more research on my own. To top it all off, Westcott has no accessories for scene lights or any other attachments to their roof racks.
