Just seen a cool split rear bar setup for the new LC 250 (Prado) here in Australia, will be looking for something similar for the GX:

Looks incredibly well built. Negatives are the rear quarter tubes - they just look hideous - and the tires and bags or jerry cans completely cover the tail lights! I see they have little slot red & yellow lights in the bumper but is that road legal for you guys down there?

😀 apparently so, you see it all the time but I do agree the covers over the cans is not common and won’t keep our red dust out, good pic up on the design 👍👍👍

Interesting that they have an acrylic panel over the lane departure radar sensor. I wonder if the sensor is the same one on the GX and in same location? I am patiently waiting for JW Offroad to come out with their rear bumper and from what I know now, the sides are going to be similar to this one, but not sure what they're doing about that radar sensor. Also, I don't like how this one here reveals so much of the underside. It could be designed to cover some of that thin metal stuff hanging down and still maintain great departure angles. His solution of just painting it black or bending it back is kind of cut rate.
