yes, the Manual explains this in Table of Contents, under "Rear Seats - Tumbling the Second Seats". The back of the seats have a small cover plate you pop off and a tether strap is in there. It connects to the Grab handles above doors. Not around the head rests. Also notice that the back of the seats also have removable cover plates that are intended to cover up the seat hinge openings in the floor after tilted up. Nice touch, my prior 4x4 trucks didn't have thatIs there a way to secure the rear passengers seats when they are folded up? My seat are not stable when they folded up.
No seat tethers on my 2024 Premium Plus
No seat tethers on mine.....2025 Premium+ with captions chairs.
It seems the tether for securing the 2nd seat in tumble may only be for the 5 seat models. The Manual implies that, it says for models with 3rd seat to not drive while 2nd seat is in tumble position. Since I have an OT I don't know what the 7 seaters have.Sounds like it’s just for the 60/40 rear seat and not the captain’s chairs
This is correct. It makes sense to tether on Overtrails because this leaves a flat floor behind the seat.It seems the tether for securing the 2nd seat in tumble may only be for the 5 seat models. The Manual implies that, it says for models with 3rd seat to not drive while 2nd seat is in tumble position. Since I have an OT I don't know what the 7 seaters have.
