I noticed a scratch in the black plastic above the passenger door. Any suggestions on how to remove or cover up? Not a big deal but want to keep on top of it. I did notice that wiping the plastic down after washing it that is marks easily

This is destined to occur to ALL of our vehicles if they used as they were intended. (Typically from tree branches on trails).

If you want to have a long term and removable /re- applicable option - it may make most sense (even now - after a scratch) to have both areas covered with gloss black PPF. (Clear PPF if you have NO scratches).

The problem disappears and you have a self healing surface for several years. Cost for those areas should be a few hundred dollars for both sides. (Depending on the shop).

I have clear PPF on my piano black areas just for that reason. (Completed within a week of purchase.). In your case, black PPF will make the issue disappear.

Thank you for your input. I was looking to have this done for the front of the vehicle but will now add on the black trim. I didn’t realize it was plastic when I bought it.

The only area that they may have issue with in terms of doing a clean PPF application is anything with a slightly irregular surface.. like the small trim pieces on the A & D pillars..

See my notes on the following thread on how I addressed finding piano black pieces to have wrapped in PPF..

Again good luck 🙂👍🏽
