Decided to take the GX & go investigate either San Gabriel Valley OHV area on Saturday morning or Cleghorn ridge . I’ve never been to either - entry ticket at SGV OHV is $10… DM if anyone is interested in connecting out at one of these destinations on Saturday am - maybe around 0900 and perhaps grab an early lunch together afterwards with anyone who wants to join and talk cars…. pre- Father’s Day activity with my son… plan on heading back towards Claremont around noon - 1pm..
Online, SGV OHV looks like a bit of a motorcar mosh pit .. Ive set my expectations fairly low … it only 40 min or so… from Claremont and just North of Azusa.
Cleghorn ridge looks less traveled and more scenic..
If at SGV have to keep in mind the stock 26 GX OT can only ford up to 27.5 inches of water.,,,
