Received this e mail from my dealer.
I may start researching Land Rover Defenders.


Due to the current limited production, Lexus has significantly reduced the number of GX units we receive each month. Because of this, we are no longer able to reserve incoming GX models. Moving forward, all GX allocations will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis when they arrive.

In addition, due to the continued high demand and limited supply, the dealership will now be applying anadditional $5,000 market adjustment, on top of the $4,985 in accessories already included on the vehicle.

Hit up Pembroke Pines in FL. If you don’t mind paying for shipping (~2-3k covered) you can get your spec without PIO/DIO in 6mo probably.

I had a refundable 1k deposit there before I picked up an OT locally. Can give you my sales guys info if needed, he was great to work with and got me my deposit back same day when I cancelled.

Yes but the only issue is I have a trade in. So I am not sure shipping from out of state would work.

I had a trade in also. You’d have to ship to them which will cost you.

His recommendation was to sell your car locally (carmax, carvana, private sale, etc.) to avoid the expense and get the most for your trade in.

When I purchased my 24 OT + in 24, all the dealerships from Riverside, Ca. to San Diego county were asking 5k above MSRP plus add ons. I agree with all of you, rip off. You just have to shop around. Good luck in your search for a reasonably priced GX.
