Turn off Alarm/Battery Charging (1 Viewer)

Hello,
I am going to be parking my GX550 OT for months a time sometimes, without access to electric. I want to disable the alarm to maintain battery. Could someone let me know how to do this. Also, I am going to use a solar battery trickle charger and want to know if I can just plug into the charging dock in the console and keep the battery charged. If someone has some knowledge on this I would appreciate it. Thank you.

I think easiest is to simply disconnect the ground (-) cable from battery. Probably don't even need to trickle charge if just sitting for few months if disconnected.

Agree on disconnecting battery but, I was doing a little more research and could plug a solar trickle charge into the odb scanner port and charge that way.
