Turning off dreaded S-Flow permanently????? (1 Viewer)

I have the eco AC off and do not use the eco drive mode as I find it does nothing for increasing mileage for my driving style. I also don't use the auto AC mode. My S-flow stays toggled off at startup. I really think it may have something to do with those settings as I doubt mine has been programmed to stay off.

I wonder if it's because I usually have a child seat buckled in one of the rear seats and it thinks I have rear passengers so S-flow never turns on?

Or maybe I got lucky and mines defective.

S-Flow will never permanently stay off without the setting changed. Check the manual

I’m not arguing the point. It’s off when I start mine and I’ve never asked the dealer to disable. Maybe it’s not permanent, but it’s off whenever I start it so it’s close enough.

I’ll ask the dealer at the 10K service if it’s disabled.

Either way I’m happy it stays off, whether it’s supposed to or not.

I definitely do not like the AC being set on S-Flow! In the Phoenix summer, I want full blowing capacity and the S-Flow severly reduces it, but every time I get in the vehicle it reverts back to being on. How do I turn it off permanently? Thank you.
Is this why the cooling feature on the seats sucks! I live in Florida and I used auto start and it felt like the heat was on when I got in the car instead of the AC??

Makes sense. Pretty sure the ac seats get their air from the transmission tunnel where the rear ducts travel through. All bets are off for S-Flow on the ‘27 LC in if having rear seat cooling option reconfigures.

Ive tried to explain to people that you need to have the rear vents open for maximum cooling. I think 1/2 passengers think just run the front vents but the car is so much colder when you have them all open

I find S-Flow stays off if you manually adjust the rear climate settings. Simply enable the rear climate control, choose a custom fan speed / airflow direction, and then set it however you want (including off), and that seems to keep S-Flow off for me. Make sure you take a short drive above 6mph after adjusting the setting, as I find a lot of the infotainment settings only save after a drive.

Unfortunately, it doesn't help OT owners, who will probably have to ask for Dealer help or buy a Mongoose VCI cable.

The dealer is capable of setting it to off permanently. My dealer did it for me back in January. I had to do the research and sent it to my service advisor - they were ready to do it, for free, when I went in. The dealer does require a special tool, much like a plug in reader of some sort. But it has been OFF since, going on seven months now.

Same for me, I have all these off and it stays that way at startup.

Went to dealer for oil change today and had them disable S-Flow. I’ll let you know in a month if it ever comes on again. I also had the lane change signal blink changed to 6 blinks instead of 3 and also set the windows to roll down with the key fob.

Thanks for the update! I didn't know you could do the windows with the key fob, so I'll have to bring that up too, or is that something I can do myself?

On my 2024, I also believe that S-flow is always off once I clicked it off on the screen. I'll check it again today.

I also leave my driver's seat ventilation always on full cool (not auto). I leave the passenger seat on auto. I can hear on start-up that my driver's seat ventilation comes right on.

No, the windows, sflow, and the blinker are all things that have to be programmed at the dealership. My dealer did not charge me for any of the modifications to the programming.

Got my first oil change Friday. The dealer programmed the S-flow and Eco AC to be off by default. No More having to turn it off all the time. Yea!! That crap doesn't work in Phoenix.
