Yesterday I bring the GX in for its 10k service, tell the service advisor I want the S Flow turned off permanently, she says it cannot be done. Now this gal has been my service advisor for 10 yrs and has always given solid advice. So I say ok. Tell her I am not happy with the feel of the brakes, she says go for a ride with my lead tech, ok! We go, I mention the S Flow he says, no problem, we can do that. Pick the car up and it's off for good! Moral of the story, it can be done, no fee, so question your advisor, they are not as good as they appear to be - they are not mechanics! As a side note, the lead tech of Bell Lexus tells me he cannot wait to have enough $ to get a GX, he said they are fantastic and one of the best vehicles Lexus has ever offered.
