Probably a PPF tuxedo wrap. Lots of those getting done on LC, Tacoma & Tundras by dealers. Toyota is doing it on Tacoma TRD Pro.

Lexus only offers a black roof on Overtrail models, and only the roof is black.

The GX in your picture is a Premium Plus trim with an aftermarket wrap on the roof, pillars, part of the belt line, mirror caps and wheel arches.

Yes - there are a variety of options on how owners have their PPF installer approach the finish lines - specifically on the back. This was how I had mine done.

If you like the tuxedo aesthetic and don’t need all the off-road prowess of the Overtrail / plus, and perhaps need the extra seats, the smartest way to go is what was done in the white GX in the initial picture that was posted: having gloss black PPF applied to the roof and A through D pillars on a GX 550 Premium / plus.
