Waiting to be notified of an allocation

Hi everyone. Have been looking at everyone's posts for a while now. Finally decided I better join and become official. Currently waiting to be notified of an allocation of an Overtrail Plus in caviar with black interior. Have been driving a Volvo xc60 for the last seven years, but the GX550 is speaking to me!

welcome...my transition has been 2018 XC60, 2023 XC90 recharge and then a 2024 GX. You will be happy. This GX has been loads better than the Volvo's

I have only been able to drive a friend's. No dealer around me in Kansas City ever has one to sit in, let alone test drive. I know the ride will be different from my Volvo, but I had a 4 Runner many years ago and didn't mind the ride at all. Also, Volvo has been costing a bunch to upkeep.

I really think I am set on the Overtrail Plus, even though I will never take it off-road. From what I have read it offers a better ride. I don’t need third row at all. The 22 inch wheels on the Luxury Plus concern me. I would not pay to have rims and tires changed on whatever model I get. Any thoughts or forums anyone would recommend I review. Thanks for any input!

Same boat. I like the chunky tires on the OT/+ and the off-road capabilities (for resale) however prefer the 3rd row and rear vent options in the non OT trims. I will probably never off-road it either

Same calculus for me. No serious off-roading for me but like the looks, need the rear storage space way more than the third row and agree on the 18" wheels with bigger tires. I came from a BMW X3 M40i w/ 20" wheels and the ride was very firm but to be expected as the car is really set up more like a sports car in terms of suspension etc.

the 3rd seats to lay completely flat so i don't think you'd lose as much storage - would you?

I thought there was bit of a bump but ultimately the third row was not a deciding factor, just something I didn't need.
