Here’s a clean, friendly intro thread you can post—forum-appropriate and conversational:

Hey everyone 👋
New here and excited to finally join the GX community.

I just put my deposit down a few days ago on an Eminent White Pearl GX 550 Premium Plus 🙌
We first test drove back in September and after sitting with the decision for a bit, finally decided to pull the trigger.

The dealer is telling me a 2–4 month wait, even though I’m supposedly first on the list. I’ve seen a few posts where people mention it sometimes ends up being closer to 3–4 weeks, so I’m curious what others’ recent experiences have been. For what it’s worth, I did tell them I’d be open to other trims or models if something becomes available sooner, but it sounds like the Premium+ is one of the more commonly produced trims anyway.

📍 Located in Lancaster, PA

A little about me: I enjoy hiking with my dog, snowboarding when I can, and we’re also expecting our first kid this spring, which helped push us toward upgrading to something with more space and capability.

Looking forward to learning from everyone here and following along with other deliveries—appreciate any insight on wait times or ownership tips!

Two to four months wait is actually good, if anything better then you're doing really, really good. Or you're in the right place at the right time.

See the 5th post in here. If you are referring to the Lexus dealer in Lancaster County or Mechanicsburg, (Rahal), then they fall into the category of dealers that sell at MSRP with no additional markup (and fewer POIs), with the downside of possible long wait times.

When I was looking I went in and talked to them, multiple times. I got good vibes and if I was living closer to the area I would use them without any second thoughts.

One of the sales people in the Lancaster County store does all the ordering (at least for GX 550s) for all three stores. He was totally up front when I talked to him -- in fact the salesman I originally talked to walked me into the ordering guys office when I asked detailed questions. The ordering guy was upfront and legit, I knew that because I had been participating on here for several months, and had already talked to several other dealers.

Edit to add: Sounds like you are first on the list for Prem+ in White Pearl. Across all three locations Rahal seems to move 10 to 16 or 18 GXs per month. This is my estimation based on looking at their website, and the discussions I had in-store. Be prepared for a call "Mr User739... we have an OT+ in color _____ the buyer backed out, do you want it?" Do not feel obligated to buy because if you don't someone else will, it won't sit long.

Yes, we went to Rahal and they seem great. My in-laws have been customers there for years, so we felt comfortable going with them. I had a similar experience to yours — it definitely seems like there’s one main guy handling the ordering/logistics across the stores, and he was very upfront with us too.

Appreciate you sharing!

Welcome to forum. Great place to learn about your truck and how to build it out if you are so inclined. The wait is unpredictable. I was on the list for eight months and then suddenly two became available in two days. I took the first one. Good luck with the wait.

Welcome to the forum and it is worth the wait.

When I decided to go for it my dealer missed one allocation and I was in the next one a week later. Process was fairly easy with all options included in the build. I just wish I could watch it via video or something like that. When I started looking dealers near LA were asking up to $10k over, mine is $2k over with tint and paint included. I did find another dealer willing to go for sticker with no added markup but I'd have to start all over.
