Has anyone experienced wetness underneath the carpet on the passenger side? I recently removed the passenger step panel for wiring purposes and noticed moisture/dampness underneath the carpet area. It is water and not coolant so I'm guessing either AC drain or sunroof drain that is clogged.

Sorry to hear - no water in my Lux+. I think you've probably guessed the right root cause.

If you don't hear unusual wind noise from the passenger side, I would look at the sunroof drain first. Not sure where the AC drain routes, but you should be able to easily tell if that's clogged by the puddle under your car after running the AC.

I saw you have an aftermarket roof rack … check those holes …. Toyotas are notorious for leaking there if the seal degraded

You think it was from that last run of rain?
Highly possible it was from the latest round of rain. I don't think it is the AC drain since I haven't turned it on in months. So the water intrusion is either from the roof rack mounting points or sunroof although the RTT covers the sunroof.

I placed dessicants underneath the carpet to soak up any remaining moisture in the meantime. Need to locate the source of water intrusion.
