I don’t believe the video in question is legitimate. An engine update like that is expensive. In addition, it would be an admission that their official reason for the engine recall (a tooling issue) was dishonest. I believe the only drivetrain update for ‘27 will be a hybrid option.

Of course. My father ran a Datsun/Nissan dealership in the ‘80’s so I have a soft spot for Nissan (and I still own one). I think they’ve got some good cars and their pipeline looks promising so I’m hopeful.

One of the biggest mistakes they made was going after the sub-prime market several years ago. That combined with stale products led to poor profitability and sales. Add reliability issues (mainly with CVT’s) and you have a company that has fallen well below where they once were.

The lighting seems fine when adjusted to full brightness.
