2024 OT Rear Camera Washer

Anyone else with a base OT notice it does not have the rearview camera washer? Wonder if it could be added in the field...

My 2025 non + OT does not have the rear camera washer. That video is also not an OT trim, so it might be only be on higher trims? The manual even says "if equipped" in the section about the camera washer.

Yep ... No option here and there appears to be no sprayer on the rearview camera

That is annoying. Why does the LC get the digital rear view mirror, overhead vents and the camera washer and not on the OT, I don't understand.

This doesn't answer the question, but somewhere in another thread someone posted the hack of turning your lights to DRL OFF (the bottommost position on the stalk) and then firing the windshield washer. Getting in the habit takes a few times, but so far in my testing that seems to have worked. Guessing you are like me and don't want a giant blast of windshield washer fluid sprayed all over the front of your truck every time it decides to pop the headlight washer.

I was not aware of this feature so just checked it on my OT+. Sure enough the feature is there. I'm guessing it is available on the OT+ and Luxury +

Correct me if i'm wrong..so the headlight washer did not work when DRL is turned off?

Your guessed is correct that I dont like water sprinkles over the hood of my gx everytime I clean the winshield..

Correct - I read that on here somewhere and the few times I have tested it myself it seems to keep the headlight washer from firing. That said, I have prob only tried it like 5x since I read it.

Thanks...I was scratching my head trying to find where I read it, but maybe it wasn't here after all and it was in the manual.

I just noticed yesterday that the rear camera washer also activates when the rear window washer is used while in reverse.

It may activate everytime the rear window washer is used, only noticed it because the camera was on.
