Originally, my dealer said it was not going to be covered under the warranty. I had a case open for a variety of issues, so the Lexus Engagement Center(corp) made a one time exception. Later I was told that it takes 10 min to replace a door seal, so you can buy it and then hire somebody on Craigslist to pop it back in if you do not want to do it yourself. The lift gate seal is a different animal and I would hire a more professional dude to replace that.
