3rd Party Dash Cams

Seems fine. I haven't done much with it. I was planning on downloading some video today. And yes, hardwired. The installer was impressed with the quality.

They have a bundle that has the hardwire kit, fuse accessories, and microSD card. That's what I got.
Thanks again for the rec. Had it installed this morning and, like you, the installer was impressed by the quality. I played with the functions a bit and I can already tell it’s way better than the BlackVue I had that I paid a lot more for.

Let me know if you have parking mode configured. I have been messing with mine more and am not convinced it goes into a separate mode when I turn off the vehicle.

Does anyone of you who've hardwired have a diagram or know how it was hardwired?
I'm trying to connect a dash cam to the fuse box under the glove box on the passenger side but wasn't sure about the right fuse to use.

Hi, for the GX550 OT+, does anyone know how many pins are in the rear view mirror 'box'? I see a few power supply adapters and the Fitcam that get power from a pinout in that area, but don't know if the OT has 10 or 12 or 16 pins? I can remove it to check, but if someone knows, thanks for the info.
