I was tired of hitting the steering wheel every minute. An ankle weight and problem solved.

Interesting idea.

The lane tracing system worked pretty good, not sure I trust it enough to defeat the safety aspects though.

I tried it for a few hundred km last week and I absolutely would have wrecked if not for intervention on several occasions. It took several corners wide a solid foot into the adjacent lane, and was happy to do so even when I was side by side another car.

I found I BARELY had to touch the wheel for it to leave me alone.

100% corners are for sure hands on with this.

This is more just for the long straight sections.

You can also just press any button on the steering wheel e.g. audio volume, and the ACC will still think you're paying attention. No need to move the steering wheel. This works on other cars as well, even Tesla.

Full water bottle works great also. Used it on many rental cars that require steering wheel movement. Didn't work on our Merc because it has touch sensors.

I don't understand. Why would you want to take your hands off of the steering wheel? It's called driving.

I feel like they could do better with the auto steering. Every time I drive by an exit on the freeway, it tries to exit. Love the hacks though. The orange might work best for me. I can keep it in my handy cool box with all my other refrigerated items.....
