AGM Replacement Battery for Lexus GX550? (3 Viewers)

That 6000 is a beast. You can probably air condition your home with that thing.

Check to make sure it comes with the 100 watt fast wall charging adapter. Gooloo plays a little game saying it has 100 watt fast charging but that’s only with the 12-volt cigarette light adapter; the wall mount adapter is extra. You can get 100 watt adapters pretty cheap on Amazon (doesn’t have to be Gooloo name brand). I got it because the package deal with charge adapter and hard/soft case was cheaper.
Bill,
You are correct of course - no fast wall adapter for my particular GT6000 purchase was included.

I wanted to point out to everyone that I did already have 2 of the Anker 67 watt GaNPrime wall adapters, which are smallish and portable. As you mentioned any strong, reputable wall adapter should do the job.
Ref the pics..
One of the 2 GT6000 showed up at 86% charged, the other at 74%.
I charged the 86% one up to 99% in just a few minutes (didn’t time it..) with the Anker, the 6000 was pulling 63w..it went real fast so that is plenty good for me.

I should mention that Gooloo specifically mentions that the jumpstart function will not work below 20%..so you would always keep it above that anyway ..which should mean a quick recharge even with just a 67w adapter.

Although maybe not perfectly recommended..I did take both units up to a full 100% as a sort of stress test; to test some of the Gooloo built in “10 protections”. It was cool watching the power pull wind down on the Gooloo screen as it hit 100%. The Anker became warm but not hot; and then I used it to charge the 2nd Gooloo up to 100% too. The Anker remained warm but not hot..regulating itself to about 63w.

The light on both the 6000s is quite bright, and has a basic fast strobe and an SOS strobe.

The Gooloo 6000 box is quite sturdy and high quality, and lined with thin foam. So..one of those boxes I’ll cut down shorter, add a bit more foam, keep the jump cable with the 6000 and store it up in the GX overhead storage panel for quick access. The shorter box will be able to fit up there nicely.
The other miscellaneous provided cables are in a zip lock bag and I’ll stash them elsewhere in the GX.

So both units checked out so far. I will check both charge levels in 6 months, and then swap the units between the Benz and the GX at that point.
DJ.

My GT4000S arrived yesterday and I was playing with it too. It arrived at about 80% charge and I plugged it in. The display quickly ramped up to 103 watts and it was at 99% in just a couple minutes. I think I'll charge up the kids' ipads to drain it down a bit and then see how it charges on my solar panels. Not even sure how I'll be plugging it into the solar panels....better figure that out. Final pic is the new one compared to my old one, the 2000 size.
