Hello, my battery is dead in classic Arizona style. Working fine when parked, deader than a doornail this morning. I was able to jump it with my portable jumper battery to get my wife & son to his first day of school, but she parked and shut the truck off and then it wouldn't start again. She couldn't get the jumper battery to work so I had to run up and get it done for her - the jumper barely started the truck.
I'd like to replace this OEM flooded lead-acid battery with an Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) battery.
Looks like our battery is an H7 (Group Size 94R) 12-volt battery.
Duralast has a Platinum 94R / H7-AGM for about $250 (shopping the local Autozone website).
Duralast Gold 94R / H7-DLG is $215.
Optima has a yellow-top Size 94R / H7 DH7-AGM for about $380.
Any opinions? Thanks!
edit to ad for more information:
2024 Lexus GX550 put into service June 7, 2024, so it's 2 years & 2 months old. Currently has 30,000 miles.
