Anyone Install a FitDVR Dashcam Power Adapter? (1 Viewer)

Has anyone installed one of these on their GX OT? Dash Cam Power Adapter (10-Pin) for Toyota and Lexus. D3-035
I have one on my NX and love it. I emailed FitDVR and they said the 10 pin is what I need for an OT.

I’ve been looking into that one too actually. Curious if it plays nice with the factory mirror wiring or if it needs any trimming or splicing.

I installed one on the NX, it took 5 min, remove the cover, unplug the 10 pin and insert the FitDVR cable in between. I emailed them and here is what they said about the GX550. Of note, the d3-035, is the same one I have now in the NX350. My OT has the auto-dimming mirror, not the fancy digital one.

No, its plug & play. Moving my setup to the GX this weekend.

That’s super helpful info, thanks for breaking it down. I didn’t realize the GX needed the 16-pin for adaptive cruise that’s a good detail. Sounds like a clean install too. Definitely let us know how it fits once you’ve got it moved over this weekend, especially around the trim area.
