Auto Seat Heat

Alright I have to ask. On my other cars with the auto heated seat and steering wheel I would set the temp that I wanted those to come on. With the Lexus that is not the case or I can't find it if it is. Can someone explain what this does or am I just missing where to set it up?

The seat has 3 comfort levels. Just press the button on the lower left of the display. Same for the steering wheel.
I don't think that's what he or she is asking. They're suggesting a "thermostat" feature where you set an ambient temp where they turn on automatically. I'd like to know what other cool vehicles they're driving that have that!

My x5 does that.

My Ram trucks that I have had do this also my last 2 BMW's have this. You can set the temp different for steering wheel and seats

So I thought that is what the auto feature is but it is not. Anyone know what that feature is?

I think it's all part of the climate concierge feature. Kindof the same but a bit more conditional than just turning the seats and wheel on at X degrees.

basically set a desired temp, put it all on auto and the car tries to guess whether you want Heated Seats, Heated Steering wheel, or ventilated seats along wth auto climate control.

There are some settings in the dash where you can tune the auto warmer or colder to your preferences I think, haven't played around much yet.

It seems to work well enough so far. Alot of Lexus stuff is hidden in a black box for better or worse.

Enjoyed all of you comments on this subject for me set it on auto and forget it one day you’ll be as old as me and you’ll enjoy the heat

As Killy mentioned, you could go into the settings menu on the display and tune the auto settings for driver side and passenger side to colder, warmer etc.

I was initially skeptical with the auto heated steering and seat settings but was pleasantly surprised that it has worked quite well so far. Even when it was in the 40s and 50F, heated steering and seats turned on auto setting.

I turned it on Sunday and am giving the auto a try. So far so good
