Catback Performance Exhaust

No, but I'm thinking about it. Kind of pricy, so I may hold off until there's more info on it since it can always be bolted on down the road.

I’ve had good luck with Borla mufflers, but that was also with a V8. You have to find that right level of burble (or maybe “throaty sound” with a turbo V6) but no droning at speed.

I installed MF and have no vibration issues. They could have installed the over axle pipe where it’s touching a crossmember. It’s very close and needs adjusted as you tighten the clamps. I also would not install this without turning off the augmented sound! When I turned that off, I found most of the weird engine noises I thought I was experiencing were just the ML processor trying to keep up with what the actual engine was doing. I thought I had a takeoff hitch but it was just noise and not the actual engine.

Just wondering about turning off the augmented sounds. Is that setting in the system setting menu? I’ve done that on an RX but haven’t come across this in the GX. Thanks.

I am also interested in the Lexus catback. I am seeing the price is as low as $650 on some sites. Part # is ptr03-60242 if anyone is curious. Just waiting on some feedback on the sound/drone before I pull the trigger, but haven't been able to find anything.

Edit: Its two parts. PTR03-60241 and PTR03-60242

The full exhaust is actually 2 pieces

Catback Performance Exhaust consist of parts: PTR03-60241 Center Pipe and PTR03-60242 Tail Pipe

the best price for both that I've found is $1829 before shipping (~$200 after shipping discount) and tax

Lexus Part Numbers: PTR03-60242 and PTR03-60241
Interesting. The Lexus site only lists one part number.
