Crash Bar cover from ARK

I ordered them as well, but I have a Prem+ model and they designate them as Overtrail. Guess I'll find out what the difference is, if any.

Is anyone running the crash bar covers or fender flares with a westcott lift and 35x12.5? I called westcott to see if there was clearance for the bolts with that setup and they said they haven’t had experience with that setup and really couldn’t say how much clearance there is with 35s.

so new folks. unless you are running low offset you wont hit these fender flaps. i have destroyed a set of micro flares from the original post.

i still have the crash bar cover and worked flawlessly for 15k miles. the plastic is 1/4 in abs.

i bought these again to get all the other pieces. but to run the micro flares and if you rub on the trailing edge of the front fender you will destroy the micro flare.

Planning on 17x8.5 + 35. Im hearing they should clear? Or should I maybe go down a tire size?

What suspension/wheel tire setup are you running?
Thanks for the info. Not the easiest info to find.

you should be fine. im running 35x11.5 on a 18x9 ET0 it rubs my inner fender so i know i cant run it now.

i need to lift my car a bit more since i added my winch as for the crash bar you should remove all of the metal covers and put this cover to protect from dirt an debris

Hi all, does anyone have a digital copy of the installation instructions for the GX Micro Flares? I requested it via ARK customer service but haven't yet received an answer. Mine are due to deliver Fri/Sat this week so I wanted to do a pre-read in case there is a difference between OT and non-OT mounting holes.

Hold tight....mine should arrive later this afternoon and I'll scan the instructions (assuming there are instructions).

I decided that the "Rear Splash Guards Gap Filler" are a good idea and should offer some mud and rock/gravel protection and also improve the looks of the very-visible rear inner fender area. I don't think the front splash guards will work with my King suspension and the remote reservoirs but the rears should work. The rears splash guards are $120 from Ark.

Then I decided that an even better idea is getting a hold of some thick plastic and making my own rear splash guards. I'll report back.

ARK vs. mine stock.webp

Maybe some flexible rubber would be more ideal

The QR code doesn't work - says video is private (on the screen above and in person here with the package). I've emailed ARK asking for actual directions.

LC250 files i had saved before if this helps
This definitely helps.

No response to my email to them this morning requesting directions (I replied to Ark's order confirmation email). I've gone 2 rounds with Ark's AI-powered chat bot on their website trying to get directions but the bot has won both rounds. No humans are at home at Ark. Not impressed.

I was really pissed off earlier as I was trying to get on the road to northeast AZ where it is raining and I'll be off road and I wanted to test out the micro flares. I've postponed the trip until tomorrow for other reasons. It's not as simple as just holding up the flares to the inner wheel well and it becomes obvious. There are 2 parts per wheel well per side and metal clips, and now I see that bends are required. I don't have the time nor desire to reverse engineer this because they tried to get fancy with QR code directions that lead to a dead link. What a fascinating modern age we live in.

OK, Ark got back to me and the QR code is now linked to a public video. The video is 55 minutes long and it's for the installation of everything.

The micro-flare installation starts at about 19 minutes and it also includes steps for the mid-flaps and full-size-flaps. Glad I watched, I never would have figured it out with just the pile of plastic and hardware.

I installed the micro-flares yesterday and just got back from a work & offroad trip. The flares were easy to install once you have the directions. Very creative product with how Ark has made their own mounting brackets that attach to stock mounting holes. The brackets provide additional, reinforcing mounting holes for their flares. This way you don't have to drill any new mounting holes in the wheel well. The flares stop some stuff from hitting the side of the truck but the coverage is...well, micro. I probably should have gone with the medium flares/flaps. I know I didn't want the full-size because I'd hit them on rocks. I'd love the coverage of full size but I'd rip them off. I think I'll add some thin rubber extensions to the bottoms of my micro-flares. I'll post up some pics later.
