Crash Bar cover from ARK

I ordered the Crash Bracket Delete and received the product without issue. However, two metal clips were missing but the owner hasn't responded to my inquiry. Mind you I messaged him after receiving his email about quick responses and feedback.

So much for customer service.

I consider a quick response within 24/48 hours.... has it exceeded that?

try:

jarmstrong@arksplashguards.com

He got back to me in 1 day and was very helpful. I was pissed that there were no instructions included but he got it worked out.
Thanks Bill. Jason got back to me a day later after I contacted him. Provided him some feedback so future kits will include hardware so the kits don't look like things are missing.

Any updates on this? I am looking for a report on flexibility of these flaps. In an email ARK's customer service promised free returns but on the website you must agree to "Body lift splash guards cannot be exchanged or returned if ordered incorrectly, contact us before if unsure. Color logo exchanges require customer-paid return shipping. " I do not want to take a chance with this as my Mrs already suspicious of all the toys I've gotten.

Appreciate your input. Anyone found rubber based flaps for OT? I think rigid plastic flaps have potential to rip some or all body assemblies to which they are attached to.

You're correct - this is why I got the micro-flares. I have some 1/8" rubber sheet that I ordered from Amazon. I also ordered a new rivet gun and black rivets. When I get some time, I'll be adding a few inches of flexible rubber to the micro-flares to improve the coverage with flexible rubber.

Thank you. I think you gave me an idea of ordering the micro flaps and a thin rubber sheet and using the micro flaps as the template to create longer flaps. Thank you, Bluegill

I'll try to get to this in the next couple days. If it looks stupid I won't go through with it (will cut my shapes and duct tape it on). I got low-profile black rivets and some black industrial adhesive so it shouldn't be too obtrusive if I do see it through.

Hi, @Bluegill ! Please post your progress report ;). Have you been successful? I hope you have. In such case, please post the pics. Much appreciated in advance!

I have my rubber cut but I haven't had a chance to remove the flares and rivet on the rubber. The fact that it's been 110+ degrees every day isn't helping.
