Looking to find pricing on extended warranties.


This is what I’ve been quoted:
Additional 3 years/25000 miles which will be like 7 years/75000 miles from the 1st day of purchase, cost is $ 4515.00
Additional 3 years /50000 miles which will be like 7 years/100000 miles from the 1st day of purchase, cost is $ 5205.00
Additional 4 years/50000 miles which will be like 8 years/100000 miles from the 1st day of purchase, cost is $ 5615.00
Additional 5 years/50000 miles which will be like 9 years/100000 miles from the 1st day of purchase , cost is $6055.00

Is this from dealer or 3rd party my experience it worked out for me once you can get some reimbursement if you trade your car in that also worked for me the bottom line is are comfortable with this if you get and need it it’s worth every penny and if you don’t use it you’ll have many enjoyable days in your vehicle good luck

If you add down I don’t think price changes so what that means things are usually pro rated the price a day depending on what plan you buy you lose I’ m pretty sure not fully explaining it sorry brain doesn’t work too well at 2:40 in the morning

I skipped the extended warranty and all other service/warranty items— not worth it in my view; now if I had bought a Defender, I would have bought all of them

There is a Dealer or Company in Hutchinson, KS that sells warranties that are honored by Toyota. (I don't know about Lexus but I can't imagine that he doesn't sell them too.)I'll research his contact info and share it. He's been requested and respected by a lot of Toyota current buyers of all models.

Jerry Johnson, Dealer#-620-662-6631 or Sales #-620-487-2287. I have read that he is knowledgeable when it comes to Manufactures Warranty for buyers. I don't think he sales "3rd" party warranties.? I have never dealt with him so I'm speculating. I've also read that this Dealership in Hutchinson has some Customer Service issues that are not good. Anyway, enough of my rambling's.

I recently ask my salesman if I had a time limit regarding the purchase for the 6yr/70k warranty. His reply “available right up until the standard warranty expires.” Not so worried about the drive train with the standard 7yr/70k I’m concerned about the high cost of accessories, technology and A/C replacement.

Notably while they do indeed offer the warranty extension the price change tends to go up sometimes significantly over that time.

A good friend of mine once told me, if you can't afford the maintenance, don't buy the car. Personally, I never buy an extended warranty because 99% of the time, you will never collect a penny on it. That's just my opinion. Put the money in a savings account if you want to have money money on hand for repairs.
