I've heard great things about the Kimber Ultra Carry line. I have a similar weapon, my trusty Colt Combat Commander in stainless. I meant used to have, as I unfortunately also lost it in a boating accident.

Since I participate in the clay target sports and use shotguns, I installed a Truck Vault in the back of my OT. Works great. That said my Hellcat is always in the cooler box.
