Firearms storage

I've heard great things about the Kimber Ultra Carry line. I have a similar weapon, my trusty Colt Combat Commander in stainless. I meant used to have, as I unfortunately also lost it in a boating accident.
 
Strictly speaking it is not necessary but the political tides can change every 4 to 8 years.
