Just finished installing a Garmin Mini 2 with a Domgar Power Adapter.

I think it turn out well.

Mirror electronics panel pulls straight back. Install the power bypass connector and route behind the plastic. Close it up and use the provided adhesive.

Is it the 10-pin type-B that you linked?

I've been wondering if Dongar had something for the 550 as it's not listed on their website yet. I also run a Garmin Mini 2 on my Tacoma. With the sensitivity turned down I've found that it still records events for no reason; other than that I'm pretty happy with it and the small footprint on the windshield.

Yup, 10-PIN TYPE B(as linked) worked in the GX550. It's not listed on the vehicle compatibility list but their support team confirmed it would and i've been running it fine since July.

Were you able to reinstall the plastic panel perfectly? I was having a hard time getting all 4 clips to align and stay clipped so I removed both panels from the windshield to have a better look.

With both removed I hoped I could get more room to work and figure it out. I still couldn't align the bottom hooks to their corresponding tabs. There just isn't enough clearance to hook them in place and it's tricky to explain. It's currently reinstalled with only the upper clips secured and you can see the panel gaps.

This is going to drive me nuts until I figure it out.
