Yep, had it for a few weeks now. Even had it off-road. I love it except for a vibration issue I am experiencing. Working with Lexus to resolve it. Putting a set of wheels from a Luxury on it removes the vibration and putting my OT wheels on the Luxury makes it vibrate. However when you check the OT wheels, they are balanced and are not out of round. Hope to have it all sorted soon.

So yours is the luxury model? I would say early teething issues that would probably be resolved soon.

I have the Overtrail. I was one of the earlier ones to put a deposit down last year when they were taking EOI's.

Once an order is placed, after how long you have you heard from the dealership regarding the order acceptance and allocation/production?

Not sure if Oz is any different but in NA Lexus doesn’t “build to order” like other marks.

Basically Lexus makes what they make then allocate them to dealers and customers later.

Makes it extremely unpredictable as to when a particular order shows up.

Thanks mate, the contract says 12 months but I am hopeful to get one earlier.

The waits no fun but welcome to the forum. It took me 8 months before I got my OT. Its worth the wait.

Thought I would jump on the forum and see if there is anyone else from Australia waiting for a GX 550 OT, I have been waiting since May and every month they tell me my black GX is not scheduled for production.
So frustrating.
Has anyone in Australia actually received a vehicle yet?

I am on the waitlist for a luxury sports and they told me 12-18 months I only ordered last month though. I believe the OT are very sought after.

Definitely worth the wait. Had my OT just in 12mths now. My mate got the LC250, and every time I’m in it, it reinforces how much better the GX is! The interior, the V6!
