I traded my 460 for a 550 recently and thought it would be helpful to others considering the same.
1- I took the new heavy duty roof rack off due to wind noise above 55 mph. Add traditional bar rack same as old one. $ 2,000 wasted.
2- The cargo matts you order DO NOT include the cargo area- only a small 12 by 3-4 foot strip that fits behind the 3rd seat ( should you periodically use it).
3- Full cargo matts are not available from Lexus ( only for OT version I guess )
4- Mud flaps are not available either. Will try outside vendor I guess.
5- The 460 had dual coffee /bottle holders in the doors- the 550 only a single. I preferred the dual.
6- The 460 had a misc storage space for misc coins, etc, also a tray in the center counsel. The 560 has neither. No place for pocket junk.
7- The wind shield visor noticeably cheaper and flimsy.
8- No sunglasses drop down case near the rear view mirror- I miss this too.
9- Small high pitch hissing sound from the sun roof even at low speeds- I am having this checked.
10- A first aid kit is provided just like the 460, but there is no place to store it in the cargo area??? It flops around loose. I may get some velcro and keep it handy in the back.
11- No CD player option- yeah this is old school, but I like i as an option and sound is better.
Aside from these things I like new rig. The uptick in horsepower is a nice and welcome change. Also the tech and automated systems are much better than the 460.
