GX Overtrail+ not having Second Row Climate Controls and Digital Rear View Mirror at that price

We in Aus don’t get any choice to option up our GX’s. There is no option for a “plus”, we get what Lexus Au tell us we can purchase. As an example, we be 3 Zone Climate Control and AC vents in the roof in our OT’s as well as HUD, but I can’t option for the digital mirror or ML audio.

I don't know why Lexus has decided to not add second row climate controls and digital rear view mirror in Overtrail+ trim when this is available in Luxury trim. Even its cousin Land Cruiser has it. I hope Lexus fixes this soon and starts providing this as an option. Hopefullt, the new Hyvrid version will have these features in Overtrail+ trim.

I believe in the AUS version of the OT, we have second row climate control, maybe one of the guys that already have their OT delivered in AUS could confirm?

I use mine as a last resort. The camera perspective is crap and is too tight for normal usage on the highway. You feel like you are going to getting rear ended all the time when you actually have space. So I hardly ever use it. That said when you have that trunk filled to the brim, it IS handy to be able to see what’s behind you.

I can confirm we get 3 Zone (2nd row) climate control in the OT’s. As mentioned above, the rear air vents are also roof mounted.

totally agree with this post - after i saw the 2024 LC250 FIRST EDITION with the digital rear view mirror, i was really disappointed how a lower priced vehicle to the GX OT+ which I just bought should be so equipped. Let me add a few more gripes - poor quality leather seats that are very thin and wrinkle when sat on for a long trip; poor storage in the vehicle; poor placement of the charging pad; the doors sound "thin" when they close; insufficient electrical / power plugs, especially a standard 110v plug for the trim level; no ceiling HVAC vents; the rear cargo area plastic lining scratches easily and the scratches look white; the gas cap has a cheap plastic leash to the filler door that pops out regularly [aren't there proven, reliable designs out there??] plus the damn camera that keeps looking at you while driving....like a nanny.
