Welcome your not going to get a lot of push back on your analysis here on the GX Forum. I agree it’s all about price. I had a deposit on a LCFE but fortunately a GX Overtrail came in before it. With all the dealer add ons the LC priced out at 5K more than the OT. I feel lucky I got the OT and I have no complaints
 
In my opinion there should be a 15k premium for gx just based on power terrain , suspension and stronger underpinnings without getting into more premium interior and exterior
That's already what pretty much what separates the two when it comes to dollars. Base 1958 trim is in the mid to upper 50's while a base/premium GX is in the mid 70's. Step up to a loaded 250 and those can be had in the upper 60 to low 70k range while something like a OT+ or Lux+ is 85 to nearly 90k.
 
Now that they no longer sell the LCFE. That was coming in above the OT and with the dealer mark ups over the OT+
 
Yes, and I saw one here in San Diego. A TRD pro and it had a front spoiler so I couldn't tell if it had skid plates. I like them but not at that price.
 
It's great hearing this from someone who has owned both vehicles. You make a lot of valid points, and I appreciate you sharing your experience here!
