Yeah, I like how he said the top end acceleration of the GX and LC felt about the same. Really? Because C&D measured the LC at 7.7 seconds 0-60 and the GX was 6.3. 1.4 seconds is HUGE! And while I haven't driven a new LC, I have seen plenty of videos and heard what is, to me, the horrendous sound coming out of that I4 vs. the much much better sound of the GX's V6. Also, to me, the GX looks better.

But hey, what Ben lacks in quality he makes up for in quantity.

This isn't an apples to apples comparison. Looks like a GX Luxury or Luxury + vs a LCFE. The comparison should have been LCFE vs GX550 OT or OT+. Pricing and off road capability is more competitive. I love my OT and prefer the looks and power train to the LC

I bought a 2024 Land Cruiser first edition, and sold it 2 1/2 months later. That rough, unrefined, four-cylinder hybrid combo was awful. Noisy, rough and not efficient. I like the looks of the land cruiser and it did fine Off Road, but it sounded terrible and only got about 18.5 mpg. I tried to love it, but couldn’t because of the power train. Test drove a GX, and immediately put a deposit down on the GX 550 which I took just took delivery of. A much better vehicle with a V6!

The best things on LC 250 are;
1. The air-con rear vents
2. Digital rear view mirror
3. The Land Cruiser Badge

Not much else that the GX doesnt get or exceeds.
