Currently have a 2025 OT Incognito w/ black onyx. Really want to love it but cannot get used to the transmission and wonky shifting.

I'm considering switching to a low mileage LC200, but I know I'll miss the tech, looks, and acceleration of the GX.

Anyone here coming from a LC200 or have experience with them?

I currently own a LC 200 and just passed on a 550 OT+ a couple weeks ago that I waited nearly 8 months for. Wanted to love the new GX and still do like some things about it but overall I just don't find it commensurate to the asking price. My 200 doesn't have a single squeak or rattle, the drive train is smooth, brakes are a bit mushy and it handles poorly but the ride quality is somehow smoother even though it's a now 17 year old platform. I'd like to get into something more modern for my daily driver that has some off road capability but for me at least it seems like there's really not a perfect one vehicle solution. I'm now contemplating ordering a new X5 to daily and picking up an old Cruiser or 4Runner to tackle trail duty.

*Edit to summarize, the 200 Series in either Toyota or Lexus guise is a MUCH better built vehicle compared to pretty much anything out there. They are not without their own quirks and things to watch out for but they really are in class of their own. A cut above anything else. The only new offering that comes close would be the LX600/700H which is the next/current gen 300 Series LC.

My GX other than the ML issue is flawless - no wonky shifting - take it to a dealer. If you want the last gen LC with low miles - you'll pay over $100K for ones with less than 5k miles

I looked hard for a low mileage 200 before buying the GX. Found a 12k mile pristine example in SLC for basically what I ended up paying for the GX.

I don't want fake wood (or even real wood) all over my truck interior. The floatiness and brake dive were a little too much. And it looked too much like a bloated Highlander for me to get excited about it.

To each, his/her/their own.

Edit: found the ad and updated mileage
