Last week I tried it for the first time, it took numerous attempts to turn on by pressing the power button. I had the engine running, hooked up the hose, pressed power multiple time, then Walla, it came on and worked great. Just now I did the same, turned the car on, engine running, this time I left the hose off, pressed power, took maybe 3-4 presses to turn on. Am I doing something wrong? Cannot find specifics in the manual. I assume car needs to be running, press power once and it should come on?

Mine is set that way as well. I had a message on the screen of pump to engage parking brake. I toggled the parking brake switch and it started working

Figured it out. When you have the parking brake set to automatic, you need need to cycle the parking brake switch to off then on manually. Works fine! Thanks Mack!

That IS annoying. On my 25OT parking brake is automatic and I have never had to cycle brake to use compressor. That is based on 20-30 times I've aired up or down.

Not a big deal, but not apparent nor logical! Little thing for such a great ride.

Parking brake set? If you have it set to automatically engage, with the engine running, turn it off then back on.
