I got on the waitlist at my local dealer in the middle of June. Today I found out I was in the number 2 spot on the waitlist, but also there's an Atomic Silver OT+ that someone backed out of. There's another person ahead of me the dealership is going to offer it to, but I should find out Monday if they want that trim and color. If not it'll be mine and should be arriving at the dealership next week. And if they want that particular OT+, then I'm guessing I'll have one of the next allocations. It may take some time to cross the ocean and the rails, but fingers crossed it'll be within the next two months. That'd make a great Christmas present to myself. :)

Congrats! That would be a "December to Remember" 😂

Heard back from my saleswomen yesterday - my Atomic Silver OT+ is in and I'll be picking it up tomorrow! I'm super excited. It has the rock rails as a PIO which I like, but it also has the crossbars which I'm unsure of. Depending on what I think of the wind noise I might remove the crossbars this weekend and keep them for trips where I want the on-roof storage. During my 45 mile drive home, most of which is on the freeway, I should get a good idea of the wind noise from the crossbars. That is, of course, assuming I leave the dealership before rush hour, which on a Friday in Dallas starts around 3:30 or 4:00.

Congrats! if you dont mind me asking, which dealer in DFW did you buy from?

Did you end up removing the crossbars? I have an OT+ coming at the end of the month with crossbars and I’m not sure I want to keep them. Thanks.
I kept the crossbars on. At least so far. I've been on the highway at 75 MPH+ a couple times. I can hear wind noise, but it's not that bad, at least to me. If you want a silent truck on the highway there is wind noise coming from the upright windshield and the side mirrors, so I don't think you'll be able to get an ultra quiet ride even if you remove the crossbars. And to me, even with the added noise from the crossbars it just isn't that bad. I'm not raising my voice to have a conversation with my wife, so I'm ok with it. But it certainly isn't a silent cabin at highway speeds.

Amen to that

Thanks! The only reason I’m considering removing the crossbars is if there’s an issue with clearance getting into my garage. I don’t think the wind noise will be that bad, either.

New to the forum. I am considering removing the crossbars, I don't love the look, nor will I ever use them. Is it an easy remove?
