INEOS to GX (6 Viewers)

Really wanted the Grenadier but this was a 4th vehicle shared equally with my wife. I knew she would hate the steering on the Grenadier, so went with the GX. Sounds like it was a good idea.

Ya
I'm glad to hear from actual Grenadier owners who switched over to the GX. I also had my eye on the Grenadier, but wasn't sure about reliability. But you have to admit, those rocker switches on the Grenadier's ceiling console are really cool, like you're in the cockpit of an aircraft. I wish the GX had implemented more physical controls like that.
I agree - from a styling standpoint Ineos did some things great. Switch gear and exterior looks are great. Inside I was not thrilled at all with the cheap plastics; though I've heard that Ineos errored towards durability versus appearance.
You made the right choice. My wife didn't like driving the INEOS because of the steering.
i remember that even in the highway the vehicle was not the best at tracking; lots of adjustments all the time

I'll admit that INEOS absolutely nailed the Grenadier’s exterior and interior design. It stands out in a good way.
I agonized over getting a INEOS but chickened out and got the Overtrail. Neither has a dealer in Vermont where I live but concluded going with a Lexus made a lot more sense. At local Toyota dealer getting 5k oil change at 27,500 miles and am very happy with my choice.

The vague, wandering steering is a documented issue. I also really liked the front seats and overhead switches - very innovative and cool - but the dash display with only a tiny warning light panel in front of the driver was annoying as hell. The back seats are also rental-car quality and the cargo area and folding rear seat arrangement was rookie city. The biggest embarrassment was the BMW shift knob smack in the middle like a turd in a punch bowl!

I had a deposit on the Grenadier but bailed - it was too much of a Frankenstein build for me. The lack of a real dealer support chain was also a deal killer on its own. What good is a warranty with no real dealer support? I could also easily see Ineos pulling a Fisker and just going belly up and then congratulations, you own a yard ornament.
I'm on several forums that present this same "fear". Will there be a dealer network for Ineos in a few years?
