Interior Package Shelf (1 Viewer)

Hi, I decided to give one of the interior package shelf’s a try as a way to get all of the soft items out of the cargo net and keep my travel trout rod in the truck without it rolling around. Several different brands out there that all look appealing. In my case I decided to try the CA Tuned Off-Road shelf.

Well made, good finish, good hardware and all fit together well. I did have to chase the threads (1/4 - 20) on several of the press nuts.

I elected to use blue loctite on all of the bolts. I also elected to get the storage container shelf kit.

Wow this looks great. Does it rattle or make any noise when on the freeway?

The rack itself is solid and does not rattle.

The items I put on there have had to be adjusted to keep things like plastic buckles on my binoculars case away from the surface of the package shelf to avoid them rattling.
