Is a regular Moon Roof an option on a Prem+ or Lux+?

I haven’t seen this asked before on here, at least not that I can find.

Is a regular Moon Roof -- not the Dynamic Sky Glass Roof -- available on a Premium/Premium+ or Luxury/Luxury+? I see it as a delete option on OT trims, but I can't locate it on Prem or Lux trim lines.

The "build" process on lexus.com is frustrating, on Lux+ models sometimes the Dynamic Sky Roof shows on window stickers (when you search inventory after you finish your build), and sometimes it does not.

The frustrating part is I can see no way to include or exclude a Moon Roof, or a Dynamic Sky Roof, in the Prem+ or Lux+ build process, it's not listed under Packages & Individual Options. And it's obviously not an accessory line a cargo net. Yet sometimes it's there, and sometimes it's not.

What am I missing?

only the Lux+ has the dynamic panoramic roof glass that does not open up. Every other model has the option for a standard moon roof

That's good to know.

But I'm still missing something. There's no selection to include or exclude a moon roof on a Prem, Prem+, or Lux. Nor is there a way to include or exclude a dynamic sky on a Lux+.

Where are you seeing this option?

The Moon Roof is standard on ALL GX 550 models, EXCEPT Luxury + which has the Panoramic Roof.

The "Delete Moon Roof" is only an option on the Overtrail and Overtrail+ models.

also, there's no way to build or order the exact Lexus you want. You will only be able to pick from what comes in at your Lexus dealership. They do not allow custom ordering. If a dealer says they can order you what you want, they are basically just waiting for the same exact build to get allocated to them from Lexus (or trading from another dealer that may have gotten one with similar specs).

I didn't realize this, yet when you state it that way it makes sense.

I've been getting hung up on two details using the online build, 1) after you finalize your build and then click check availability it disregards most of what you selected, exterior and interior colors, etc. and shows any number of models that don't even come close to what you finalized. 2) I'm certain I've seen Lux+ without the dynamic sky, and Prem+ without a moon roof, yet I can no longer find them, (the links I saved to window stickers no longer work), and as mentioned above there's no option to delete either roof, and so I'm thinking maybe I didn't really see that.

that's certainly because your "build" isn't available and is showing you what is available. Most of what you'll see on Lexus.com is allocated and most likely pre-sold already anyways if there isn't a huge Mark-up on it.

It's stated above already, but all Prem, Prem+ and Lux come standard with a moonroof. all Lux + have the dynamic sky panoramic. OT and OT+ has option of moonroof delete

Correct. You choose lux+ you will get the dynamic roof, digital rear view, power side steps etc. and no option to remove.
